Event videography is usually boring: a slow-motion montage of people shaking hands and eating canapés. For the HP x Media Markt pop-up, we refused to make a "recap". We wanted to make a hype reel.
The Challenge
HP needed to showcase their new gaming laptop range in a high-energy environment. The goal wasn't just to document the event; it was to make people who weren't there feel FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).
The approach
- FPV Drone Shots: We flew micro-drones through the crowd and through the product displays to create a sense of speed and immersion.
- Glitch Editing: Matching the "Cyberpunk" aesthetic of the gaming laptops, we used datamosh transitions and neon overlays.
- Sound Design: We didn't just pick a stock track. We recorded the ambient sounds of the keyboards, the crowd cheers, and the game audio to build a custom soundscape.
The result was a 30-second asset that performed as a high-converting ad on TikTok, not just a PR archive piece.
